Branding:

In today’s world of information overload and short attention spans, it’s harder than ever to get and keep people’s attention. That makes branding – gaining a position in the mind of your target audience – more important than ever. Helping our clients develop new bands and re-launch existing ones through consistent, succinct messages is one of the most important services we first provide.

Investor and Public Relations / Corporate Communications:

The key to developing interest by your target audience – investors, analysts, media, strategic partners, prospects, customers and/or employees – and ultimately motivating them to act, is to develop a compelling story. We work with our clients to map out a strategic plan in which we can foreshadow the company’s future direction, demonstrate through events (press releases) that management does deliver on its promises, and point to future trends.

For each client, we build key communication tools including:

  • Succinct, focused press releases that tell a story, rather than just report the news
  • Persuasive Corporate Profiles and Fact Sheets
  • An investor and customer-friendly website which is easy to read and navigate
  • Properly structured quarterly investor conference calls

When providing Investor Relations, we leverage existing relationships with portfolio, money and hedge fund managers, brokers, investors, and analysts, and develop new ones who target our client’s industry. Similarly, when providing Public Relations, we leverage relationships with the members of all the media, traditional and internet, as well as use appropriate new tools such blogs, RSS Feeds, E-Newsletters etc.

For Investor Relations, we also:

  • Distribute news releases to investors to optimize impact
  • Design and develop investor PowerPoint Presentations (and using our connection to Presentation Excellence obtain appropriate coaching for our speakers)
  • Schedule investor meetings using road shows in major financial cities, virtual investor presentations to reach investors regardless of where they live, and attending appropriate investor conferences and industry trade shows (which investors attend). Respecting the CEO’s desire for a high Return-on-Investment for such meetings is a priority.
  • Obtain market intelligence, analyzing the competitive environment and investor sentiment (e.g., monitoring Message boards) to identify critical success factors.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports, letters to investors, etc.
  • Provide RegFD, Sarbanes-Oxley and crisis management advisory services

Most importantly, Target 3 Communication uniquely uses an integrated, holistic approach which leverages the power of each of the other two services to complement our primary one for which we’ve been engaged. For instance, as part of an IR program designed to gain commitment of money managers, retail brokers, hedge fund managers, analysts, and investors, we use the power of the financial, trade and general media to gain increased visibility for our clients. Similar, we may use corporate communications, such as a marketing e-newsletter to resellers and distributors as a means to create greater loyalty to the company, which in turn can generate additional sales and profits, thereby supporting the goal of increasing shareholder value.
